Peace
Day 2 – Peace in Chaos
When disorder and confusion fill our lives, peace can feel out of reach. But the way back from chaos begins with a decision. In Isaiah 26:3–4, we’re reminded that the Lord keeps us in perfect peace when we keep our minds fixed on Him.
In The Message, this promise is beautifully expressed: those who keep their minds on God remain steady and whole because they trust Him and don’t quit. Peace isn’t found by controlling our circumstances—it’s found by choosing to trust God within them.
One of the most powerful ways to keep our minds on Him is through prayer. Philippians 4:6–7 encourages us to release anxiety by praying with gratitude. In return, God promises a peace that surpasses understanding, guarding our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Gratitude shifts our focus from what feels chaotic to the faithfulness of God, creating space for peace to grow.
