Amethyst: Finding Peace in the Process
This week, we’ll reflect on the gemstone amethyst—known for its deep purple color and often associated with peace, clarity, and spiritual grounding. Amethysts are formed through time, pressure, and careful shaping. In much the same way, our lives are often shaped through seasons we don’t always choose but can learn from.
In John 16:33, Jesus speaks transparently to His disciples about both His nature and their limitations. He tells them these things so that they may have peace in Him. He does not promise a trouble-free life—in fact, He acknowledges that they will face many troubles and sorrows—but He invites them to take heart, because He has overcome the world. Jesus is the center of our peace as we journey through uncomfortable and uncertain seasons.
We are also reminded in Isaiah 48:11 that God will not allow His name or reputation to be dishonored by failing to show up for His people. At the same time, it is equally important that we do not rush past the lessons God is teaching us in the middle of our refining.
Each day this week, I’ll share one simple prompt to help you reflect on how God may be refining and grounding you in this season, and to remind you of His promises in the process. You’re invited to journal, pray, or simply sit with each question. There’s no right or wrong way to engage—just come as you are.

I look forward to reading more of your post and finding inspiration in your readings. ❤️
